Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Delhi

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) is a state university. The Government of NCT of Delhi established it in 1998. UGC has approved the university. GGSIPU is a public university with over 50,000 students enrolled.

It has a large modern campus with facilities like libraries, laboratories, classrooms and student dormitories. GGSIPU offers recognized degrees at the bachelor's master's and doctoral levels. It is known for different programs such as BTech, MBA, BBA, BCA and LLB. University comprises fourteen schools and three centers focusing on law, medicine, technology, education, entrepreneurship, science and business.

GGSIPU has over 120 affiliated colleges with 83 self-financed and 35 managed by the Government of Delhi. The admissions process is selective and based on entrance exams and past academic performance. Most courses require the IPU CET followed by counselling. University also accepts scores from national-level exams like CUET, JEE Main, GATE, NIMCET, CAT and NEET.

GGSIPU has received 'A++' Grade accreditation with a CGPA of 3.56 from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) for seven years. It ranked 74th among Indian universities in NIRF 2023. The university has international partnerships with institutes in over 50 countries.

Placements - In the 2022 placement drive the university reported a 41% increase in the highest and average salary packages compared to the previous year. The highest package was INR 45 LPA while the average was INR 12 LPA.
