Indian Institute Of Foreign Trade (IIFT) Delhi

The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) was established in 1963. It is an autonomous government institute under Ministry of Commerce & Industry. IIFT provides courses in international business and trade. It is a deemed-to-be-university.

IIFT has its main campus in New Delhi and two additional campuses in Kolkata and Kakinada. Delhi campus covers 6.5 acres, while Kolkata campus spans 7 acres.

The institute offers academic programs focused on international business. The flagship program is a two-year MBA in International Business. Other programs include a PhD in Management, an MA in Economics with a specialization in Trade and Finance and an Executive Post Graduate Diploma in International Business. IIFT has around 800 students and 70 faculty members.

IIFT provides modern facilities including air-conditioned classrooms, conference halls, an auditorium, a computer center, indoor games and sports grounds. It also offers residential facilities.

IIFT accepts CAT exam scores for admissions. It has received AACSB accreditation and was recognized as a Grade 'A' institute by NAAC in 2005 and again in 2015.

In terms of rankings IIFT is ranked 27th in Management Category by NIRF 2023 and 7th in Government Category by IIRF 2024. It holds a global rank of 176-200 in QS International Trade Ranking 2023. 

IIFT collaborates with 41 universities and B-schools worldwide for exchange programs, research and capacity-building initiatives.

IIFT has a strong placement record. In the recent placement season, the highest international package was INR 85.4 LPA. The highest domestic package increased to INR 76.5 LPA. Average package stood at INR 29.1 LPA.
