Government Engineering College Sreekrishnapuram (GECSKP) Palakkad

Government Engineering College Sreekrishnapuram (GECSKP) is located in Sreekrishnapuram. It was established in 1999. The Government of Kerala fully owns the institute. It operates under Directorate of Technical Education, Kerala. Campus covers an area of 33 acres in Palakkad district.

GECSKP is a government college. It is autonomous and affiliated with the University of Calicut and APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University. The institute offers full-time B.Tech degrees in six engineering branches- Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Civil Engineering. It also provides M.Tech programs in Computational Linguistics, Robotics and Electrical Drives and Control. Flagship program is B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering.

The college has 1,300+ students and 60+ faculty members. Its main departments include Electronics and Communications Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering.

GECSKP offers different facilities, including a library with over 14,200 books, a gymnasium, sports facilities and a cafeteria. It has an auditorium, medical facilities, Wi-Fi, IT infrastructure, transportation and laboratories.

Entrance to programs requires KEAM test. For M.Tech courses candidates must take GATE exam.

GECSKP is approved by AICTE and has been accredited by NBA.
