Indian Institute Of Plantation Management (IIPM) Bangalore

The Indian Institute of Plantation Management, Bangalore (IIPMB) focuses on Agri, Plantation, Horticulture and Allied sectors.

IIPMB is a government institute under the Karnataka Societies Registration Act 1960. It is located at Jnana Bharathi Campus, Bengaluru.

IIPMB offers multiple academic programs. Flagship program is Post-Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) in Agribusiness & Plantation Management (ABPM). Other courses include Food Processing & Business Management (FPBM) and Agricultural Export & Business Management (AEBM). Institute also provides a Fellow Programme in Management (FPM).

Admissions for the PGDM-ABPM program require scores from entrance tests like CAT, MAT, XAT, ATMA or CMAT. For the PGDM FPBM and AEBM programs IIPMB conducts its own IPAT entrance test. Candidates can apply to fellowship program through Research Aptitude Test (RAT) or CAT from IIMs.

IIPMB is an autonomous organization of Ministry Of Commerce and Industry. It receives sponsorship from Commodity Boards like Coffee Board and Tea Board among others.

The institute is accredited by HLACT International AACSB and EFMD. It is the only Indian institute offering a PGDM in food processing and business management.
