HOW TO APPLY?

Admission to JSS Academy of technical education Bangalore is through the ranks obtained by the candidates in entrance exams like common entrance test (CET) and Consortium of medical, engineering and Dental colleges of Karnataka (COMED-K) which are conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority for B.Tech, GATE for M.Tech and CAT for MBA.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

Application for admission can be applied both online and offline. Online it can be downloaded from the official website of the college. Forms are also available offline at the college campus.

DOCUMENTS TO BE ATTACHED

Documents like recent passport size photograph class 10th and 12th passing certificate and mark sheet, qualifying examination scorecard, migration certificate, domicile certificate, caste certificate (if applicable) are to be submitted with the application form and to be brought during the counselling process.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE

The admission is purely based on the rank obtained by the candidate in the entrance examination like KCET or COMED-K for B.Tech, GATE for M.Tech and CAT for MBA courses. Admission procedure ends with an online and offline counselling session followed by the allotment of seats.

Hostel and Facilities

Hostel

JSS Academy of Technical Education is an engineering college located in Bangalore. The college provides hostel facilities to all the students. There are separate hostels for male and female students. The hostels are well-maintained with centralized air-conditioning and Wi-Fi connectivity.

Other Facilities

Housed in 2 floors, the college has a good library with separate periodicals and references sections. The college has an auditorium with a seating capacity of 300 at any given time. Bus services are also available for faculty members and the students from all parts of the city. The buses are comfortable, safe and the fare is also reasonable.

The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled with a digital library equipped with 30 computers for the students to make proper use of online study material. The boys’ hostel is also equipped with a fitness centre.

ATMs set up by the Corporation bank on the campus help the students access banking facilities without any problem. The college is also a home to large playing fields for students having interest in cricket, football and volleyball.
