Nehru College Of Engineering And Research Centre (NCERC) Thrissur

Nehru College of Engineering and Research Centre (NCERC) is a private engineering college in Thrissur. It was established in 2002 and operates as a private unaided institute.

NCERC is an autonomous institute affiliated with the Kerala State APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University. It received approval from All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and gained autonomous status from UGC for academic year 2023-2024.

The college provides many undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Engineering, Management and IT. B.Tech programs include Mechatronics, Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, Electrical & Electronics and Mechanical Engineering. The M.Tech programs feature Computer Science, Cyber Security, Energy Systems and VLSI Design.

The college features modern infrastructure including an auditorium with a capacity of 1200 and a seminar hall accommodating 200. It has 43 classrooms equipped with multimedia tools and a computer lab with 720 PCs.

Admissions require scores from either Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical (KEAM) or GATE exams. NCERC is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with an 'A' Grade and is ISO 9001-2008 Certified.

College ranked 208 out of 216 colleges in India in 2022 according to The Week. MBA ranking by IIRF was 73 out of 110 colleges in 2024. NCERC collaborates with Karunya University and has professional ties with Microsoft Ed-Vantage Platinum and Infosys Campus Connect.

Placements - In 2021 NCERC placed over 100 students with the highest salary at INR 16 lakhs per annum and the average at INR 4 lakhs per annum. Companies like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, IBM and HDFC Bank participate in placements.
