Sree Chitra Thirunal College of Engineering college is a government self-financing technical and research institution which was established in the year 1995 with 2000 students and is located in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerela, India. It has been ranked 98 in the top 100 list of engineering colleges of India. Also, it is one of the top 3 engineering colleges in Kerela.

The admission and the fee structure of SCT college of engineering are decided by the government of Kerala. All the details about the college are given on the website. It is one of the seven engineering colleges under the state selected by the Central government.

The lush green campus is accommodating all the infrastructure including the hostels, seminar halls, library, conference halls, labs and much more. The college is fully equipped with the infrastructural facilities which include all the computing facilities with more than 300 machines along with the internet facilities, high standard software, full-fledged workshops, laboratories, and so on.

The staff also includes eminent professors who have more than 30 years of teaching and research experiences along with the team of highly dedicated teachers and senior professors who are deputed from other government colleges.

Hostel and Facilities

HOSTEL

The institute does not have a hostel of its own but recommends some private hostels namely SAP hostel, Sai hostel, AVM etc. for accommodating the students. These hostels are independent and have nothing to do with the institution. The monthly rental may vary from Rs. 2000 to Rs. 5000.

The rooms are provided with all basic amenities. Some other facilities offered are:

3. Public transport easily available
4. Security guards provided for safety

CAMPUS FACILITY

The college offers various facilities the students such as:

5. Scholarships are awarded by the government on merit basis or on the basis of family income
