Kazi Nazrul University (KNU) is a public university located in Asansol, Bardhaman, West Bengal. It was established in 2012.

It enrolls over 40,000 students annually. Faculty comprises around 130 members. University offers many courses in Arts, Science, Commerce, Technology and Law. It provides undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma and PhD programs. Flagship program is BTech KNU has 19 departments segmented into four faculty councils.
