Gondwana University (GU) Gadchiroli

Gondwana University is a state public university in Gadchiroli. The government of Maharashtra established it in 2011. The university spans 17 acres of land. It is recognized by University Grants Commission of India. 

Gondwana University offers undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in different fields. The faculties include Arts, Science, Law, Social Science, Commerce, Home Science, Education and Medicine. Popular courses are B.Sc M.Sc and MBA.

The university supports over 76,000 enrolled students. The faculty-to-student ratio is approximately 1-20. Gondwana University has 212 affiliated colleges. 

It offers numerous academic and non-academic facilities. The central library is one of the largest in Eastern Maharashtra. The campus has separate hostels for boys and girls equipped with essential amenities.

Admissions depend on entrance examinations. Candidates for ME/M.Tech need to pass the GATE exam. MBA candidates must achieve a valid score on MBA-MHA-CET. PhD admissions require passing university's admission test. University holds accreditation from NAAC and is approved by UGC and AIU.

Gondwana University ranks 729th in India and 11201st worldwide. It collaborates with ICSI academically. 

Placements - Approximately 60% of students secure placements with an average salary of 35 LPA and a highest salary of 45 LPA. Notable recruiting companies include Axis Bank, Yes Bank, Mahindra Finance and Muthoot Finance.
