Charotar University of Science and Technology (CHARUSAT) is located in Changa. It is a state private university established in 2000.

CHARUSAT offers over 72 programs across 9 institutes under 6 faculties. Main disciplines include Engineering, Pharmacy, Computer Science, Management Studies, Sciences and Medical Sciences. The flagship program is the B.Tech degree with different specializations.

University has approximately 7500 students and 1700 faculty members. It maintains over 120 laboratories and amenities like hostels, a Wi-Fi-enabled campus, a canteen and athletic facilities.
