The Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (RAJUVAS) located in Bikaner is a public university. The Government of Rajasthan established it in 2010. University aims to enhance farmers' income through Animal Husbandry.

Campus covers 200 acres. RAJUVAS has three constituent colleges in Bikaner, Navania-Vallabhnagar and Jaipur. It has seven affiliated private veterinary colleges. The university offers different programs. It provides a Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (BVSc & A.H.) a Master of Veterinary Science (M.V.Sc.) in 15 subjects a Master of Science (M.Sc.) and a PhD in 12 disciplines. BVSc & AH is flagship program.

RAJUVAS has around 700 students in its constituent colleges. The university has 74 faculty members. It offers multiple facilities, including laboratories, classrooms, hostels and internet services.

For admissions RAJUVAS conducts the Rajasthan Pre-Veterinary Test (RPVT). It accepts the NEET score for the BVSc & AH program and requires a Pre-PG Entrance Exam for the MVSc course. The university is accredited by the Veterinary Council of India and the Indian Council of Agricultural Research. It is approved by the University Grants Commission.

In rankings, RAJUVAS was placed between 151-200 out of 200 colleges in India in 2019 according to NIRF.
