Gudlavalleru Engineering College (GEC) Krishna

Gudlavalleru Engineering College (GEC) operates in Gudlavalleru, Andhra Pradesh. It is a private college founded in 1998 by AANM & VVRSR Educational Society. GEC is affiliated with JNTUK, Kakinada and holds autonomous status. The campus spans 100 acres.

College offers undergraduate programs, including B.Tech in Civil, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Computer Science and Information Technology. It also provides M.Tech and MBA programs. GEC initiated new B.Tech courses in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science and Internet of Things starting from 2020-21.

GEC has over 1300 students enrolled and employs 275 academic staff members. It features a library with over six lakh books, computer labs, hostels, conference and seminar rooms and sports facilities.

For admissions, GEC requires scores from AP EAPCET for B.Tech, AP ECET for lateral entry, AP ICET for MBA and AP PGECET for MTech The college holds NBA and NAAC accreditation with an 'A' grade and is recognized under UGC Acts.

GEC has received different accolades, including recognition as one of best engineering colleges in Andhra Pradesh by DATAQUEST and ranked 66th overall in India by GHRDC in 2016. The college was honored as the Best Engineering College with Overall Performance of the Year by ISTE in 2017.

The college engages in collaborations with many organizations, including APSSDC, ICT Academy and AWS. 

Placements - GEC has a strong placement record. By August 2023 890 students from the class of 2023 secured placements. For class of 2021 975 students were placed by November 2021.
