Srinivasa Ramanujan Institute Of Technology (SRIT) Anantapur

The Srinivasa Ramanujan Institute of Technology (SRIT) is a private educational institute established in 2008. It is located in Rotarypuram, Ananthapuramu district, Andhra Pradesh. The founder is Sri Aluru Sambasiva Reddy a professor of engineering. 

SRIT is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Ananthapuramu. It offers both undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The undergraduate programs include B.Tech in Civil Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and CSE (Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning). Postgraduate offerings include M.Tech in VLSI Design, Power System Engineering and Computer Science Engineering.

Institute has over 3,000 students enrolled into various programs.

SRIT offers many facilities including internship programs, a modern library, sports and extracurricular activities and transportation. 

For admissions the institute accepts multiple entrance exam scores. These include AP EAMCET for B.Tech courses AP ECET for lateral entry and GATE/AP PGECET for M.Tech courses. SRIT is approved by AICTE, New Delhi and accredited by NAAC with an 'A' grade, along with NBA accreditation.

In rankings, SRIT was placed 223 out of 281 colleges in India by India Today in 2023. Also it ranked 190 out of 246 colleges for B.Tech in same year. 

Placements - Companies that participated in 2023-24 placements include TCS, Enzen, ZOHO, Qatar Airways, Accenture and Deloitte.
