Lakireddy College of Engineering

The College of Engineering (LBRCE) is situated in Andhra Pradesh and was founded in the year 1998. The Institution is affiliated to the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Kakinada and has also been approved by the AICTE, New Delhi.

The College had been accredited with an ‘A’ grade by the NAAC organization and moreover has been certified by the ISO 9001:2015. Also, the UGC has given the Institution the status of “College with Potential for Excellence”.

The institution currently offers 8 B.Tech programs, 4 M.Tech programs, MBA courses and M.C.A degree across disciplines. The B.Tech program selects students based on their scores in EAMCET/ECET, the MBA / MCA courses require aspirants to take up the AP state common entrance test and the M.Tech uses scores of PGECET/GATE.

The Campus is spread across 60 acres of land and has all modern amenities and state-of-the-art infrastructure including air conditioned auditorium, WiFi enabled buildings, and well stocked library.

Application and Admission Procedure

Lakireddy Bali Reddy College of Engineering is an autonomous institution accredited by NAAC with ‘A’ grade. The college has been approved by All India Council of Technical Education and is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad.

The college various courses at under graduate, post graduate levels. The admissions to all the courses are made on the basis of ranks obtained by the candidates in the state level common entrance test conducted by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.

For undergraduate courses, the students need to appear in Engineering Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) or AP ECET.

For post graduate admissions in engineering (Master of Technology), the candidates need to appear in PGECET, conducted by the Government of Andhra Pradesh or Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering, conducted by the IITs.

For admission into Master of Business Administration or Master of Computer Applications, the aspiring candidates must have appeared in ICET, a state level entrance examination conducted by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.

Also, for both undergraduate and postgraduate courses, 30% seats are reserved for management/NRI category as per the guidelines issued by Andhra Pradesh Technical Education Department.

Hostel and Facilities

HOSTEL

LBRCE holds a reputation of having the best infrastructure in the town and the hostels of this institution are keeping up with this reputation. There are separate hostels for boys and girls. Both the hostels are well equipped with modern facilities.

GIRLS HOSTEL

The girl’s hostel is situated in the centre of Mylavaram town which is about 1 km from the town. It is a spacious, clean, well equipped and well maintained place to live in. The hostel can accommodate 300 students. There are solar water heaters available for 12 months for warm water.

It is spread over area of 25000 square feet and the total area of the hostel includes mess facility, std booth, fancy and toiletries store, a separate hall for recreational activities like watching television.

For the mental and physical well being of the students there are sports facilities like shuttle, badminton, tennis courts and indoor games like caroms, dart boards, chequers. For the conveyance of students there are two buses provided for the hostel to college travel.

BOYS HOSTEL

The boy’s hostel started from 2003-04 batch with the accommodation of approximately 300 students. The hostel building is adjoining to the college building and therefore the beautifully landscaped garden is accessible to the hostlers.

The hostel is equipped with all modern facilities like solar water heaters, modern kitchen and dining hall, recreational area for watching television, reading newspapers/magazines and sport facilities.
