QIS College is a technology college was established in 1998. It is sponsored by Sri Nadamanuri Educational Society and is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Kakinada.

According to the statistics, around 301 students were selected during the 2013-14 session with CSE Department bagging the highest placement.

The year 2014-15 had a total recruitment of 444 candidates, a majority of which were from the ECE. However, the MCA department received the lowest placement throughout the time span of 2013-17.

Application and Admission Procedure

How to Apply?

The college offers many undergraduate and post graduate courses along with MBA (Master of Business Administration) and MCA (Masters of Computer Application) with 60 seats for the both the courses.

Admission procedure for all the courses is almost same. Candidates having passed 10+2 or their Undergraduate degree from a recognized university can apply.

Mode of application

Online: Candidates can download the application form from the college’s website. After filling the relevant details the candidates can submit the form along with attached documents along with application fee.

Offline: The candidate can visit the college for collection and submission of the form or after filling the form downloaded from the college’s website he can send it to the college along with the demand draft of application fee.

• Passport size photograph
• Caste certificate
• Grade of entrance exams (if any) for respective course (for e.g. CAT scores for MBA)

Admission Procedure

The college follows the guidelines of JNTUK (Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada) for admission purpose. Admissions are granted on the basis of merits of entrance exams or exams accepted for admission to various courses.

For some courses admission is directly given on the basis of class 12^th marks followed by an interview.

CAMPUS FACILITIES

There are four main facilities provided by the college which can be categorised as:

CENTRAL LIBRARY

The library works from 7 A.M. to 8 P.M. on the working days though holidays are an exception. It occupies an area of 12,000 sq. Feet. with a collection of various books and journals with a separate database for all these books. EKLAVYA technology satellite channel helps in conducting video lectures. They have barcode scanner facility for lending and returning books.

PHYSICAL EDUCATION

They have well-equipped indoor and outdoor sports facilities with the provision to a gymnasium which opens from 3PM onwards. Competitions are held within the college according to the rules and regulations set by the college.

CANTEEN

Operating from 2002, the canteen provides hygienic food under the Health and Hygiene Policy. The food is monitored by the college directly. The meals are provided at subsidised rates.

DISPENSARY

A round-the-clock college dispensary with recovery rooms and experienced medical staffs are available. Periodical visit by specialists along with consultancy, tests and treatment from major hospitals are given.
