Rajamahendri Institute Of Engineering And Technology (RIET) East Godavari

The Rajamahendri Institute of Engineering and Technology (RIET) is a private engineering institute in Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh. It was founded in 2008 by the Swarnandhra Educational Society. Institute is affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada. It has approval from All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi.

RIET offers six programs, including B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Electronic and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Diploma courses in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering is flagship program.

Institute has 900 students and 125 faculty members. The faculty to student ratio is approximately 1-7. 

RIET provides different facilities like a Wi-Fi enabled campus, digital classrooms, modern laboratories, a hygienic canteen and sports and cultural activities. Library contains over 25,500 volumes and 2,680 titles on engineering subjects. There are also more than 23 buses for transportation.

Admissions are based on the Andhra Pradesh Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET). RIET has a 'B' grade accreditation from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). It also has approval from the University Grants Commission (UGC) the Bar Council of India and the Medical Council of India.
