Chalapathi Institute Of Engineering And Technology (CIET) Guntur

The Chalapathi Institute of Engineering and Technology is a private institute located in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. It was founded in 2007 by Sri YV Anjaneyulu. Campus covers an area of 20 acres.

Chalapathi Institute is affiliated with Acharya Nagarjuna University. ACITE has approved the institute. It holds autonomous status for 10 years. 

The institute offers 10 courses including B.Tech and M.Tech programs. Specializations in B.Tech program include Computer Science, Electronics and Communication, Electrical and Electronics, Civil and Mechanical Engineering. B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering is its flagship course.

The student count exceeds 2800 with over 145 faculty members. Student-faculty ratio is approximately 8-60. 

Facilities available include a library, separate hostels for males and females, a canteen and transport services. The library supports the teaching and learning process.

The institute accepts AP EAMCET scores for B.Tech admissions and GATE/AP PGECET for MTech It has received an 'A' grade accreditation from NAAC. The NBA also re-accredited the branches of CSE, ECE, EEE and Civil for the 2021-22 academic year.

In rankings, the institute placed 107 out of 170 colleges in India in 2023 by The Times Of India. It has hosted international collaborations including the ICRCSET-2021 conference.

Institute has active placement cell. In the 2022-23 academic year, companies like TCS, DXC Technology and SAVANTIS Solutions offered placements.
