Gayatri Vidya Parishad College Of Engineering (GVP) Visakhapatnam

Gayatri Vidya Parishad College of Engineering (GVPCE) is a private engineering college in Visakhapatnam. It was established in 1996. It is an unaided institute.

The college is located in Madhurawada on the outskirts of Visakhapatnam. The campus covers 21 acres and features many facilities including a post office, student service center, canteen, stationery shop and banking services.

GVPCE operates as an autonomous institute affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada. College enrolls about 1200 undergraduate students across seven branches of engineering- chemical, civil, computer science, electronics and communication, electrical, mechanical and information technology. It offers a Master of Computer Applications program as well.

The faculty comprises about 280 members including 70 PhD holders. Approximately 30% of faculty have doctoral degrees.

GVPCE offers a four-year B.Tech program and also provides M.Tech courses in seven departments. Admissions are based on different entrance exams- EAMCET for B.Tech GATE for M.Tech and ICET for MCA.

The college has earned an 'A' grade accreditation from NAAC with a CGPA of 3.47 out of 4. All undergraduate programs are accredited by NBA. GVPCE holds the 188th rank according to the NIRF 2020 report.

GVPCE has international partnerships, including cooperation with the government of Germany in the Indo-German Institute of Advanced Technology initiative.

Placements - For placements college reports a 95% placement rate from 35 recruiting firms. Average salary package offered to students is INR 3.5 lakhs per annum.
