Gayatri Vidya Parishad College Of Engineering For Women (GVPW) Visakhapatnam

Gayatri Vidya Parishad College of Engineering for Women (GVPCEW) is a private engineering college in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. It started operations in 2008.

GVPCEW is an autonomous institute. It is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada (JNTUK). 

The college offers undergraduate and postgraduate engineering programs. The B.Tech program includes specializations like Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning. The M.Tech program includes a specialization in Data Science.

College has approximately 1200 students and a faculty strength of 280. Among the faculty there are 70 PhD holders and 207 postgraduates.

The campus features modern laboratories, classrooms, a library and a computer center. It offers hostel facilities, a canteen, gymnasium and sports amenities. The college operates six buses and two other vehicles for transport.

Admissions to B.Tech and M.Tech programs occur through JEE Mains or AP-EAMCET exams.

College is approved and accredited by AICTE and NBA. It has a NAAC accreditation with Grade A. GVPCEW received autonomous status from UGC effective from 2024-2025 to 2033-2034.

The college ranked 251-300 among 300 colleges in India according to NIRF in 2022. In 2023, IIRF ranked it 156 out of 166 colleges in India.

Placements - In 2020 batch, more than 200 students secured placements in companies like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Wipro and Tech Mahindra. College reported 193 placements for 2022-2023 batch.
