IITTM is one of the India’s leading institute offering management courses in the field of travel and tourism. Started in the year 1983 the institution has devoted itself to providing higher education in the field of tourism. Started with the mission to develop a quality human resource for tourism the Institute has nurtured students to achieve professional excellence. The institute has its centres spread across Gwalior, Bhubhaneshwar and four other states where more than 3000 students are trained to become leaders and managers.

How to Apply

M.B.A Program

Applicants who wish to pursue their higher education in the field of tourism need to apply at the Institute by filling in the form provided at the admission counter. You need to possess a valid score of All India Examinations such as CAT/XAT/MAT before applying.

Admission Procedure

The candidates would be selected for this program on the 100 point scale. 70% of the weightage would be given to the score obtained in the All India Entrance Tests. The remaining 30% would be evaluated on the basis of GD and PI conducted by the Institute.

After completion of all these three rounds, the selected students would be handed over admission letter based on the merit list released.

The College offers a two-year full-time course in tourism management. Admission through this course is done on the basis of score obtained in CMAT/MAT/XAT or any other state level examination followed by a GD and PI.

Eligibility Criteria

A candidate who wants to pursue an MBA course from IITTM must have a graduate degree from a recognised university. Also, he should have secured more than 50% in his graduation accompanied by a valid score of GMAT/CAT/XAT/MAT,

Campus Facilities

• The students are provided with world class infrastructure so that there is no hindrance in their education.
• The lecture halls have been well equipped with LCD screens and other multimedia devices to make learning interactive and fun.
• A centralised library is also present that provides students an aid in the learning. The Institute has a subscription of journals and well as periodicals.
• Auditorium with a capacity of 350 students is also present where events such as cultural fest or convocation ceremonies are organised.
• Computer labs loaded with software such as SPSS, Ms-Office, are present to provide students hands-on learning experience.
• Other facilities include an indoor games room as well as outdoor sports area.

Hostel Facilities

The campus provides a separate hostel for boys and girls. There are 120 beds provided in the hostel for an easy and comfortable stay of the students. All the facilities are provided to the students including healthy and delicious food.

Fee Structure

The fee structure for the MBA are mentioned as under:

• Total Fees: - 2,50,00/- for entire course
  • First Installment of Rs. 1,25,000/- is to be paid at the time of admission.
  • Second is to be paid six months after of Rs. 1,25,000/-

*Other Expenses such as hostel, books and uniform cost all account for Rs. 60,000/-

Student Life

The college as is related to tourism and finance, the students get an opportunity to travel across India. Few students get a chance to fly abroad. The college also encourages students to participate actively in sports related activities and for this it organises various tournaments and competitions.
