COLLEGE PROFILE

Andhra University College of Engineering, also known as AU College of Engineering, was established in 1955. An autonomous college of the Andhra University located in Vishakhapatnam, the college offers various courses at under graduate and post graduate level. All the courses have been approved by All India Council of Technical Education.

All the admissions are strictly on the basis of merit. The students need to appear in Engineering and Medical Common Entrance Test to secure admission in the college.

The campus is fully residential with hostel facilities for all the students. It is the first college in Andhra Pradesh to provide 4G internet connectivity to the students. Projector screens are available in all the classrooms and finger print attendance system is there to instil a sense of discipline among the students.

The college also has a dedicated training and placement cell for the students to students decent jobs after graduation.

Application and Admission Procedure

Admission Process

The students need to appear for the relevant entrance examination to get admissions in the courses specified. It can be EAMCET / GATE / PGCET. The eligibility criteria should be checked in order to appear for the admission process.

The students can apply online for the relevant examination through the examination board or the institute itself. The students need to qualify the Andhra Pradesh EAMCET for the selection purposes. The candidates must have passed 10+2 level in the Science stream to apply.

How to apply

• The candidates who wish to apply must visit the online website of the institute in order to fill the online application form.
• For EAMCET / PGCET- the government, which is followed, will release the notifications by the official release of the application form.
• The application fee has to be submitted online via the debit card or the credit card or the online banking on which they will get a registration number.
• The details have to be filled accurately in the application form. The necessary documents must be uploaded along with the photographs and the signature.
• The printout of the application form needs to be taken out for future reference.

The digital library setup is getting popular and the college is at its best to cope up with it. Highly updated computer systems and relevant journals/magazines along with books serve the purpose of clean knowledge sharing among students.

Laboratory

The laboratories of AUCE are totally upgraded and there are state of the art equipment in all sections of laboratories.

Seminar Halls

There are 2 seminar halls, having 200 seating capacity along with audio-visual facilities.
