Godavari Institute Of Engineering And Technology, Rajahmundhry (GIET) East Godavari

The Godavari Institute of Engineering and Technology (GIET) is in Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh. It is a private institute established in 1998.

The campus is located in Chaitanya Nagar. It spans 300 acres and includes modern educational facilities. GIET is an autonomous institute permanently affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada.

The institute provides B.Tech programs in seven specializations and M.Tech programs in eight. It also offers postgraduate courses in computer applications (MCA) and business administration (MBA).

GIET 2,919 students and 327 faculty members. The gender ratio among students is equal with 50% male and 50% female.

GIET provides many amenities including hostels for boys and girls, canteen services, computer labs and a library. It also offers transportation, gym facilities, sports amenities and smart classrooms. 

College accepts multiple entrance exams including APICET, AP EAMCET, JEE MAINS, AP POLYCET and GATE. GIET holds an ISO certification and has been accredited by NBA and NAAC with an A+ grade. It is recognized by UGC and approved by AICTE.

Institute conducts placement drives through its Training and Placement Cell. Placement rate for academic year 2022 reached 93.45%.
