Rai University Ahmedabad

Rai University was established as a private university in Ahmedabad, Gujarat in 2011 by Rai Foundation. The foundation at its peak had 29 colleges offering 300 courses in Chhattisgarh.

The university offers courses in science, management, media, fashion and arts.

The university was awarded best upcoming university by ASSOCHAM India.

The university has 40 acre campus. The university has a special focus on under privileged students. They offers scholarships to provide equal opportunities to such students. One such program run by them is DreamZ Scholarship Programme for girls from underprivileged background.

The university believes in learning through various modes like digitally centered classrooms, MOOCs courses offered by Ivy-league universities and interactive discussions. The university strongly believes in “inculcating in our students the vital attitude of lifelong learning”

How to apply

The application process is completely offline. Candidates need to download the form from the official site of the University or they can personally collect it from the University campus. Candidates need to filled in the application form correctly and attach the attested documents along with it. Candidates need to include a demand draft of INR 500 in favor of “Rai University” payable at Ahmedabad, India.

Admission Procedure:

Admission to Rai University is completely based on merit. The result of the last qualifying exam of the candidate is taken into consideration followed by a personal interview. It is important to remember that candidates seeking admission in B.Tech, Lateral entry in B.tech (D2D) and MBA programmes need to appear for an entrance test. Selected candidates will be called for admission and seats will be guaranteed on verification of document and payment of fees.

Hostel and Facilities

RAI, Ahmedabad provides on-campus hostel accommodation for boys and girls. The rooms are well-furnished with furniture, AC etc. The cafeteria is aesthetically located in lush greenery with a variety of choices and also happens to be the hang-out zone in the institution. It is also a place for work and project assignment symposium. The other features are library, medical care and labs.

For a hassle free learning experience and convenience of the students, the University provides transport from the various locations in Gandhinagar and Ahmedabad to the college and back.
