Remarks

My experience of the college was good. I chose the b.des program as i have a keen interest in the design. The fee of the college is pretty decent. The college also offers scholarship which is great.

Entrance Exam

For admission into the design program the students have to give the design aptitude test. The exam has different sections including GK, Qualitative, Quantitative, Design and language. I had cleared the exam and got admitted into the college.

Fees

For my course I had to pay Rs 1.4k which includes the hostel fee. As compared to other colleges offering design courses, the fee is pretty expensive.

Placements

The college has a great legacy of placement. A large number of companies come for placement. This includes companies for fashion design, interior design, product design. Some of popular placement companies are- Fabfurbish, biba, Cravantsn Kothari associates, cravants, adidas, nike, godrej and a lot more.

Hostel and Facilities

The hostel of the university is great. Students can choose between single rooms, sharing rooms comprising of 2-4 students and other sharing rooms with 4-8 students. The whole hostel is air-conditioned. The college has a number of facilities including refrigerator, tv, attached washrooms, furnishing. The college also has a very high speed internet.

Faculty

The college faculty is very supportive and helping. There go out of their way to help us in assignments and project work. We are also allotted mentors who help us with oiur personal issues.

Campus Life

The campus is huge and full of events. Some of them include talent shows, music events, dj nights, painting, poetry, debates. Sports fest is one of the highlights of the college.

Academics

Internships

The university offers internships with design brands, designers, export hourses and more. Students are paid stipends. The range of the stipend depends upon the company.

Loans and Scholarships

Merit-based scholarship at the time of admission for UG Programmes: Academic Fee Scholarship for the first year will be offered to the candidates.Sports based scholarship at the time of admission as per recognising their talent, sports person are offered Academic Fee Scholarship for the first year.

Remarks

The best part of the university is the placement. Students get placed in renowned companies. Also the campus of the college is huge and great.

Entrance Exam

The university accepts scores of entrance exams like cat/mat/xat/nmat/cmat and other management entrance test. Though it also accepts students based on the GATA admission test which is the university conducted entrance test. I also gave this exam and cleared it followed by a personal interview.. Post clearing the interview they will get admitted.

Placements

The college has a dedicated CPC i.e corporate research centre which makes sure students get placed right. Before the placement season begins the final students are trained with mock interviews, skill development classes, GD talks, corporate grooming and ,more. Just so that the students fee confident once they are with the recruiters. The selection process includes aptitude test, group discussion and interview. Also, the internships provided in the course are very helpful when it comes to placements.

Hostel and Facilities

The has a huge hostel with a dining area which can accommodate over 800 students. The mess menu is prepared separately for veg and non-veg cuisines. You get 3 meals a day i.e breakfast, lunch and dinner. Other than that you also get snacks and juice. Coming to the hostel rooms , they are very spacious and have all the basis furniture like study table, chair, cupboard and bed-beddings. Rooms are provided on sharing and single basis. Also, as the college is located in a posh area, there are a lot of handout spots nearby.

Alumni

Faculty

The faculty of the college is one of their biggest assets. The faculty is very experienced and knowledgeable and their method of teaching is very modern. They teach the with the help of projectors, audios, tutorials. Group work is given equal importance. The faculty provides notes to the students and are also available during the exam time.

Campus Life

Academics

The structure of the exam is well organized, exam are conducted on time. The credit structure of the college is very adjustable and thus the students do not get stresses out a lot.

Internships

The internships are arranged by the CRC team. They collaborate with a lot companies for industry visits, projects, lectures etc. Internships are mandatory and students have to submit a detailed report on them. Stipend is also offered in most of the internships. Also, doing internships from top companies help you a lot when it comes to the placement interview.

Loans and Scholarships

I do not know much about the loan but some of the students were studying through education loan so it is clear that it is provided. You can contact the college for more details. Different types of scholarship are provided by the college this includes scholarship based on merit as well as sports. On the basis of merit, the scholarship is calculated based on entrance score and interview. Also, to get scholarship year on year you have maintain a very good score. Students who have played at national or state level are provided sports scholarship.

Remarks

The best part about the college is the course it prepares you for a wide range of carrer options. They have perfect mix of unique and different concepts and thus students get a lot of exposure. Some of the cereer options are web journalism, television writing, radio, social media, PR, flim making etc.

Entrance Exam

I got admitted through merit I had score 85% and got admitted without any entrance test. I think students who score 85 and above can get directly. Others below this have to give the GAT exam which is conducted by the university itself.

Fees

The fee of the college is around 1 lakhs per semester. It is pretty expensive considering the course and the status of the college. But the average packages of the college is good and will cover parts of this if not the whole course fee.

Placements

In general placement records are really good here with highest package being INR 8-10.5 lacs. The university promotes according to the course chosen by the student. They also provide jobs in the university also. But to sit in a placement, student must have following things: 7.5 CGPA every semester, no backlogs, no reappear, and discipline.

Hostel and Facilities

The hostel of the college is the best. There is centralized ac in the hostel along with tv and refrigerator in the rooms. The rooms can be taken separate or on sharing basis with 4-8 students. The hostel is uge and can accommodate more than 400-500 students and obviously, the hostels of girls and boys are different. The internet in the hostel is top speed and all the rooms are well furnished with linen sheets. It is no less than a 3 star hotel.

Alumni

This college has a very good environment for learning. Seniors are very friendly. No ragging is done here. Faculties are good, management is excellent. The college has very strict ragging rules and so everyone respects that and there is almost no ragging. Seniors are helpful and fun to be around.

Faculty

The faculty helps us in our issues and in comparison to other colleges, we have a pretty descent faculty. But when comes to the education background they do much much experience. Some of the faculty are fresh M.tech graduates. I don’t think anybody has a Phd.

Campus Life

The college organizes cultural for culture enthusiast which involves various competition like dance, music, poetry and more. It also has a tech festival for people interested in technological things. The gender ratio is on the upper side in case of women. Students can play various sports including cricket, basketball, football and even indoor sports like chess and TT.

Academics

Each semester we have two periodicals and an end semester, so exams are not much really tiring.For assessments we have class tests and assignments.So the point is if you keep up the work till last then it'll become hectic or else its fine

Internships

The college does provide internship to students for about 45-60 days based on the policy of the company. The internship is usually with media houses like newspapers, internet companies etc. I personally suggest students to take up internships are they are a valuable in teaching the important practical aspects. Here you can also understand the correlation between the theory and practical. Not just this, you will even get a nick of the corporate life before you actually start one. Don’t take this lightly as you will have to submit a detailed intern report to your mentors who will then give you marks based on this and a test.

Loans and Scholarships

No idea. As far as I know, it is providing it but my concern says that I m not aware of this as I had not applied for this.
