Pranveer Singh Institute Of Technology (PSIT) Kanpur

The Pranveer Singh Institute of Technology (PSIT) is in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. It is a private institute established in 2004. PSIT is affiliated with Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow. The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) approves the institute.

PSIT's campus covers 80 acres. The institute offers courses in Engineering, Business Management and Computer Applications. B.Tech program includes specializations in Computer Science, IT, Electronics and Communication and Mechanical Engineering. The flagship program is the B.Tech in Computer Science.

PSIT has approximately 6,300 students enrolled.

The campus features many facilities. This includes modern laboratories, a central library, virtual classrooms and an air-conditioned auditorium. It also provides hostel facilities, transportation, Wi-Fi, a canteen, a medical center and sports amenities.

PSIT accepts scores from many entrance exams for admission. For B.Tech it considers scores from JEE Mains exam. For M.Tech, MBA and MCA, it requires candidates to take CUET PG.

PSIT has four undergraduate programs accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA). It is also recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC).

In rankings, the Times of India lists PSIT 32nd among 170 colleges in India and 7th in Uttar Pradesh. The institute ranks in the 151-300 band in NIRF's 2023 Innovation Category.

PSIT organizes international conferences and has many international collaborations. 

The placement record is strong. In 2023 highest salary package was INR 50 LPA from Paloalto Networks.
