Alankar P.G. Girls College, Jaipur was established in the year 2006 as per the wishes of Late Shri Ram Pratap Kataria, who wished that a college for women be established at “Kataria Krishi Farm, Bishnawala, Jaipur”. His cherished vision took shape as “Alankar P.G. Girls College” and many well wishers from the field of education lent their shoulders for this noble cause.

Alankar college is highly recognised and fully affiliated to the rajasthan university, accredited by ugc (university grants commission).

At the heart of Alankar’s work is the support of best educational resources we provide for students, both in terms of external and internal learning approaches for the better results in the field of their concerned studies,. Our work with faculty members is supported by a growing enthusiasm and positive approach to the teaching learning process thus make the field of education better. This ensures that our faculty members have access to the best professional development available.

Extra-Curricular:

Besides high quality education, the college focuses on extracurricular activities. The college encourages its students to participate in other activities that are organized from time to time. There are various activities throughout the year in which students participate

• Academic Club- academic club organizes workshops, lecture series, seminars & symposia during the academic session to supplement the knowledge of students.
• Cultural Club-This club organizes fresher’s party, dandiya fest, youth week, Christmas celebration, New Year eve and Annual Function in the end of the session. Cultural club of the college was awarded as one of the best cultural club in the Jaipur amongst 400 colleges in 2012 awarded for prestigious Bhaskar-A-Azam award (for 3rd Runner up in cultural)
• Communication Lab- The college facilitate communication lab that enables students to make correct use of language and to be well acquainted with communicative aspects like sentence pattern, sentence structure, word structure and word sounds, so that they can represent themselves effectively and write the language liquidly
• Sports– The college provides opportunity to the students in participating various state and national level competitions. Two Students of the college achieved Gold and Bronze Medal in the Inter-College Tournament in Javelin throw and Archery respectively. The College has its team for badminton, Kho Kho, Kabbaddi, Volleyball, and athletics and students have won medals and certificates in all these games in interstate and intercollegiate tournament.
