Catholicate College Pathanamthitta

Catholicate College, Pathanamthitta was established in 1952. The institute is a special grade college of Mahatma Gandhi University Kottayam and re-accredited with B++ status by the NAAC. The institute started as pioneer institution of higher education of the Malankara Orthodox Church,under the educational agency HH Baselious Marthoma PauloseII Catholicos of the East. The instutte motto is“fear of the lord is the beginning of wisdom”.

The college has completed fifty-nine years in disseminating quality education in the central travancore region of Kerala. Catholicate College, enjoys the privilege of being one of the best colleges under the Mahatma Gandhi University with a consistently outstanding performance record.The college has been endeavoring to shape the destiny of a community in the fullest spirit of its stated mission,an educated,enlightened society for a brave new world.
