The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Jodhpur was established in 2010. It is a public institute supported by government.

NIFT Jodhpur offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs. UG courses include a four-year Bachelor's degree in Fashion Technology (B.F.Tech) and Bachelor of Design (B.Des) in four specializations. PG programs consist of a two-year Master's degree in Fashion Management (M.F.M) and Master of Design (M.Des). Bachelor of Design (B.Des) program is flagship course.

Facilities offered on campus include a high-tech auditorium modern classrooms and laboratories, hostel accommodations, a resource center and a guest house.

Admissions require valid score in entrance exams like the General Ability Test (GAT) and Creative Ability Test (CAT). B.Des candidates must also take the NIFT Situation Test.

NIFT Jodhpur is recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with an 'A' grade.
