The College of Technology and Engineering (CTAE) is located in Udaipur. It became part of Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology in 1964. CTAE is a public institute and receives government funding.

The institute includes well-equipped laboratories for each department with modern instruments.

CTAE offers undergraduate B.Tech degrees in eight disciplines. It also provides M.Tech degrees in twelve disciplines and PhD programs in nine specializations. The B.Tech program is the flagship course. The college employs over 100 highly qualified faculty members.

CTAE accepts JEE Main and GATE scores for admission. College is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. In the 2021 NIRF rankings CTAE was placed between 251-300 in the B.Tech category. It has been recognized as an Outstanding Engineering College in the Northern Region.
