Shankara Institute Of Technology (SIT) Jaipur

Shankara Institute of Technology is a private institute in Jaipur. It started in 2001.

The institute links with Rajasthan Technical University and the University of Rajasthan. 

Approvals include AICTE, NCTE, MHRD and the Government of India.

The institute provides undergraduate and postgraduate programs in multiple fields. Undergraduate courses include B.Tech in six disciplines- Automobile Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Information Technology. Other undergraduate programs are BBA B.Ed and BCA. At the postgraduate level it offers MBA and MCA courses.

The faculty consists of 125 members with more than 4000 students enrolled.

Available facilities include over 120 lecture halls, three drawing halls and five seminar halls. Laboratories are equipped with latest technology for different departments. Institute also features separate hostels for boys and girls, a canteen, a gym, sports facilities, a health center, Wi-Fi, transportation services and banking facilities.

Admission to B.Tech is based on the Common Admission Test. MCA admissions consider RMCAAT performance. MBA candidates must provide a valid CMAT score.

The institute holds a Certificate of Excellence as the Best Engineering Institute in Rajasthan. It collaborates internationally with institutes in Lithuania, Trinidad & Tobago, USA, Canada, Mauritius and Nepal.
