Situated in Kota, Rajasthan over a 10 acre campus and affiliated to Rajasthan Technical University, Kota, The Modi Institute of Management and Technology was established in 1999 and is run by SRD Modi Vidya Niketan Society. The institute offers courses in MBA, MCA, BBA ,BCA, M. Sc Biotechnology Microbiology, M.Sc Botany, M.Sc Physics, M.Sc IT, M.Com and Ph.D as well and has witnessed 350 students getting placed on campus till date.
About the MBA ProgramSpanning over 2 years and following the semester scheme (4 semesters), the MBA program at MIMT is accredited by AICTE and has an intake of 120 students per batch (18 seats for management quota). Students are offered dual specialization in following electives:
- Marketing management
- Finance management
- Human Resource management
- Systems management
- Production management
Applicants must have graduated in any discipline with at least 50% aggregate marks (45% for reserved categories). Applicants appearing or awaiting their result shall be granted provisional admissions subject to fulfilling the requisite aggregate on results. The students also require valid CMAT scores.
How to ApplyThe interested candidates can apply online by filling the application form available at www.cmat-raj.org and paying a sum of Rs.11,000 along with it (Rs.1,000 towards registration fees and Rs.10,000 adjustable against fees). Documents required for the admission procedure are:
- One attested copy each of CMAT scorecard and Graduation mark sheet (or equivalent).
- One attested copy of either school certificate or mark sheet or equivalent testifying the age.
- One attested copy 12th mark sheet

Admission ProcedureApplicants shall be shortlisted on the basis of marks obtained in CMAT and will then go through a group discussion round and finally an interview, with priority being given to applicants belonging to Rajasthan State Domicile.
If any seats are left vacant on completing the above procedure, further admissions shall be granted on the basis of marks obtained in graduation.

Campus FacilitiesThe institute stands over an area of 10 acres. MIMT boasts of a mix of open green surrounding and all the modern technology inside in the form of 4 computer labs with over 400 systems and a computer center. MIMT houses an extensive library with around 24000 volumes and a subscription to more than 120 national and international journals. The institution also has a multi-sport stadium for the use of students.

Eligibility
To pursue MBA at MODIEDU students must satisfy following eligibility criteria.
The minimum qualification to apply for admission to the MBA Program is a Bachelor's Degree (10+2+3 years of education) in any discipline which is recognized by the Association of Indian Universities, or any degree equivalent to the Bachelor's Degree, with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the Secondary / Higher Secondary / Pre-degree Examinations (or equivalent) conducted by a Board / University.
Those appearing for the final year of the Bachelor's degree examinations may also apply subject to completing their examinations or viva-voce, if any, before June 30. Such candidates will however have to fulfil the above eligibility requirements in respect of minimum academic qualifications for admission and furnish evidence to that effect latest by October 31. At the time of interview and/or admissions, they will be required to produce a letter from their College Principal / Head of Institution stating the exam dates.
Candidates with appropriate industry experience will be given preference for admissions. Their work experience will be given due weightage in terms of the organization, position held and duration.
Admission Procedure
Selected candidates will be called to attend Group Discussions and Personal Interviews. Multiple Group Discussion & Personal Interview lists will be released in phases, both before and after the Application Deadline. The intimation for interview & group discussion is done through registered post and e-mail. In the case of some programs, Group Discussion may not be conducted, in favor of a rigorous interview process.
The selection criteria for calling candidates for admissions is based on multiple factors as follows:
- Past academic performance
- Quality & content of the answers in the application form
- Work experience, if any , in terms of job content & organization
- Group Discussion & Interview performance (applicable for final admissions only)
- Extra curricular activities, other interests & accomplishments
- Competitive Test score (CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT)
A combination of all the above factors are used to determine the eligibility of candidates to be offered final admission. Test scores are NOT the only criteria for selection.
A high test score does not guarantee a call for Group Discussion/Interview. The selection criteria are based on multiple factors as mentioned above.
