M.J.P Rohilkhand University is a public university established in 1975 by the Government of Uttar Pradesh. It is situated in Bareily, UP and has over 215 colleges under its jurisdiction spread across districts of Bareily, Moradabad, Rampur, Bijnor, Amroha, Badaun, Pilbhit and Shahjahanpur.
A 206-acre campus of the university includes Library, Multipurpose Hall, Hostel for boys and girls, Guest houses, Medical Centre, Temple, Bank and more.
The university has 6 Faculties & departments offering more than 90 courses.

Application and Admission Procedure
How to apply:
The candidates can fill the application form via OFFLINE as well as ONLINE. The application form and prospectus can be downloaded as well as can be obtained from the College. The application fee can also be paid through Demand draft or online by net banking, debit or credit card.
The application form should be filled by the candidate carefully and should be submitted before the last date.
As mentioned in the above section the candidate can apply online as well as offline. After checking the application form the authorities will prepare a merit list which will be available on the official web page of the university. The candidates who are selected need to appear for counselling on the mentioned date and time.
The candidate must carry all the documents along with him/her at the time of counselling. The documents are:
- Mark sheet of all the qualified examinations
- Caste Certificate (if applicable)
- Sports/NSS/NCC or any other certificate (if claimed)
- Any other certificate (like extra qualification)
- Transfer Certificate
- Character Certificate
- 6 Passport size photographs
Hostel and Facilities
The College has a central library with around 1,25,000 books, a medical center, a career counseling department, placement cell, Post office, bank with round the clock ATM, digital learning enabled smart classrooms, auditorium, and seminar halls.
The College, in association with industries and several other committees conducts workshops, conferences, awareness programs and exhibition for the students. There are also National Service Scheme, National Cadet Cops, Rovers, Rangers and many other clubs for students to actively provide service.
The University has top notch sport infrastructure with a wrestling stadium, large swimming pool, and a well equipped Gymnasium. The college also organizes athletic meets, inter-collegiate sport competitions and trainings for volleyball, basketball, cricket and hockey on a regular basis.

1) 3 year Law Degree Course - A candidate who has graduated in any discipline from a recognized University can appear for L.L.B. course
2) Integrated Degree Program - Candidate must have passed 10+2 Higher Secondary Exam or an exam cosidered to be equivalnt to 10+2 Higher Secondary Exam can enrol for integrated degree program (LLB and a first degree in any other subject).
Candidates who have obtained 10+2 Higher secondary exam certificate or a graduate degree after taking up other courses through distance mode are also considered eligible for integrated degree course. But those candidates who have obtained 10+2 Higher secondary exam certificate or a graduate degree through distance mode or from open universities without any basic qualification are not eligible for admission into law courses.
Minimum marks for admission into law courses -
1) 40% for SC/ST candidates
2) 45% for other candidates
