Chaudhary Charan Singh University (CCSU) is a state public university. It is located in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. The university was established in 1965.

The campus covers 222 acres and includes different facilities. These facilities comprise playgrounds, experimental fields, botanical and rose gardens, a gymnasium, an indoor stadium and a library.

It has hostels for both boys and girls. Other amenities include administrative blocks, auditoriums, guest houses, community centers, medical centers, faculty residences, canteens, banks and post offices.

CCSU offers different undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma and advanced diploma courses. University has eight faculties providing over 20 UGC-sponsored courses and more than 30 self-financed courses. It is affiliated with over 250 professional colleges and institutes and more than 100 colleges along with one constituent college.

University accepts scores from national and state-level entrance exams like JEE Main, GATE and CUET PG. CCSU is recognized by UGC and accredited with an 'A++' grade by NAAC. According to 2024 EduRank rankings it has a national ranking of 60 and a global ranking of 2369.

Placements - Highest package for a B.Tech Information Technology student was 22 LPA while average package was 5 LPA. Many companies participate in placement drive such as TCS, HCL, Sysko, Flipkart and Swiggy.
