Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology (MNNIT) is located in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. It was established in 1961 and is recognized as an Institute of National Importance. Government of India and Government of Uttar Pradesh jointly founded institute. MNNIT covers an area of over 222 acres. It is an autonomous institute.

MNNIT offers different technology programs. These include B.Tech., MTech (also includes part-time course), MCA, MBA, MSc (Mathematics and Scientific Computing) and PhD. The B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering is the flagship course.

Facilities offered include libraries, hostels, canteens, laboratories and research and computer centers. The institute also provides banking and transport services for students.

For B.Tech MNNIT accepts JEE Main scores. MBA admissions depend on CAT/MAT/XAT/GMAT scores. MCA admissions use NIMCET scores while M.Tech admissions require GATE scores followed by CCMT counseling.

MNNIT is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and University Grants Commission (UGC). Department of Higher Education of Ministry of Human Resources Development of India also recognizes it. MNNIT ranked 49th in the engineering category by NIRF in 2023 and 23rd overall by The Week in 2021.
