The Regional Institute of Education Ajmer (RIE Ajmer) was established in 1964. It was setup by NCERT. The institute's main focus is to train teachers in many fields like Science, Humanities, Commerce, Agriculture and Technology.

It is affiliated with Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University and is managed by NCERT.

Institute provides two integrated programs- B.Sc-B.Ed and BA-BEd It also offers a BEd program at undergraduate level and an MEd program for postgraduate studies. The flagship program is the integrated B.Sc-BEd
