Based on the performance in this exam, a merit list will be prepared and then the candidates will be called for counseling. To access one’s result, the candidate has to go to the result link and give their application number. Usually, the candidate will get his/her score i.e. the total marks out of 160 and their rank.

Additionally, the university will also release their cutoff mark. This is the minimum mark that should be scored by the candidate in order to qualify for an admission at this university. Usually, the cutoff marks will be displayed on their official website.

This mark is calculated based on many parameters like the number of students attending, the difficulty of the question paper etc. Comparing ones mark with the cutoff mark will give the candidate an estimate of where the stand and when to expect a counseling call. Counseling will be conducted in the 3rd week of May 2018 and all the candidates eligible for counseling will get an official counseling letter.

The date and timing of a candidate’s counseling session will be decided based on the rank secured by the candidate. While appearing for the counseling, the candidate will have to verify their documents. Once this is done, they will have to pay the admission fee (also called the counseling fee) and confirm their seats.

Candidates can also secure an admission into this university by attending one of the following exams:

  • State Level Engineering Entrance Examinations
  • JEE Advanced 2018
  • Merit in Cultural activities or sports

However, it should be noted that the candidates should qualify any one of the above-mentioned exams and admission will only be given based on merit.

Once a candidate selects and finalizes their admission, they have to pay the fees for the course. The fee can only be paid through a demand draft which should be drawn in the favor of KL University payable at Vijayawada.

Specifically, the fee is divided into three sections – one-time fee, caution deposit, and tuition fee. Details about the amount and how to pay the fees will be given during counseling.
